125 Exchange does only one thing. Places your 125 x 125 banner ad on other blogs, and places other blogger's ads on your blog. It is all free for blog publishers, and the fresh traffic for your blog can be noticeable. You may eventually find that the Exchange is more sophisticated advertising and better targeted exposure than initially envisioned.

It has been said that effectively marketing a blog is one of the biggest barriers to success. The goal for 125 Exchange is to help increase awareness of your blog by putting the right ad, in front of the right reader, at the right time. We do this by offering 63 target blog categories so that you will be displaying your ad in front of readers that are especially interested in your topics. We also highly encourage experimenting with different ad variations in order to determine which ad delivers the better performance. You can upload three versions of your blog ad. The system will begin randomly displaying your ads and will keep track of the statistics so that you can eventually be displaying ads that people like to click.

IMPORTANT. If you represent Nike, then an ad with just the upside down wave will probably perform. Anything less, then your ad needs a "call to action", a lead-in question, a suggestion or something to intrigue the viewer. In the advertising industry this is called a Hook. Think business when you are preparing your ad. Get some second opinions. Email your ad to few people that will tell you the truth - does your ad looks professional or homemade? Probably refrain from putting your photo on your ad, and look at a lot of other good ads on other quality blogs. Clearly, only good ads get good results. We want you to get good results and will display your ad thousands of times around the world. But, we can’t make people click. Only your ad can do that. This is all about clicks. Click magnets.

New Blogs and Established Blogs

If you have a 125 x 125 space on your blog that is not generating strong revenue, placing a 125 Exchange display in that space can bring value to your blog. 125 Exchange can provide another good point of entry for new visitors to your blog.

If your blog is a new blog, the 125 Exchange traffic can make a big difference. If your blog is well established, 125 Exchange can help you reach-out and attract subscriptions from new spheres of influence.

Categories

Categories are target marketing. You can select the category blogs where you want your banner ads displayed. You also select the category blogs ads that you want displayed on your blog. You can select the hours of the day or days of the week that you wish to advertise.

If your blog is a Photography Blog, maybe you don't want ads displayed on your blog for Celebrity Gossip. You have complete control of everything so you can decide Who, What, Why, When, and How.

There are currently 63 categories in the Exchange that you can target, or if appropriate, you may want to exchange visitors with multiple categories. Keep in mind that targeting will reduce the quantity of your visitors, but will increase the quality. You can log on and make changes to your ads or category selections at any time.

Countries

Like Categories, you can select which countries you prefer to trade traffic with. For maximum traffic trading select "All" Categories and "All The World", 24 hours per day and 7 days per week.

Start With 5,000 Free Impressions

When you register, your account is automatically credited with 5,000 banner ad impressions. While you are working-off your initial 5,000 banner impressions, you also start replenishing the supply of free advertising available to you. Every three times someone clicks on a member ad on your blog, you get two visitors from clicks coming from someone else's blog (3:2).

Even if all your ad space is rented, research indicates that while the fee earned from ad space rental is valuable, the fresh traffic gained from 125 Exchange traffic can result in comparable revenue and at the same time increase subscriptions.

Review 125 Exchange

When you sign-up, your account will generate the equivalent of an affiliate code. If you review or otherwise promote 125 Exchange, use this code in your link. If another blogger registers because of your efforts, you will receive 10% of the clicks they receive, which will be added to your account in real time. The 10% override is forever.

What are the RULES!

125 Exchange runs a tight ship, but that is good for you.

1. Your ad must look professional. Homemade looking ads will not displayed on other blogs.
2. Blogs only. Your blog must have at least 20 posts and be recognized by Compete.com.
3. You can only promote your blog or your services. No third party sales, CPA, lead sales, etc.
4. No get rich quick schemes. MLM opportunities are OK and there is a special category for MLM.
5. All banner ads and blogs are approved for content before being activated in the Exchange.
6. All banner ads must be displayed above the fold on your blog.
7. Your blog must not contain adult or other inappropriate content.
8. Your blog must be quality and fast loading.
9. Your banner ads must be less than 30 KB size.
10. You can upload up to 3 different banner ads and monitor statistics for each ad.
11. If you operate more than one blog, you are welcome to enter all of them in the Exchange
12. You can start or pause your ads at anytime.
13. All blogs and ads will be monitored on a regular basis.
14. You can place multiple ads per page for extra exposure, above the fold.
